    Hearns the best welterweight ever???

Not by evidence surely, but by his potential.

Wasn't he 27 or 28-0 before moving up, too?

    What do you guys think?

Naw, I actually think Hearns is a lil over-rated. Awesome style, a pleasure to watch but not best welter ever. That goes to Sugar Ray Robinson, 2nd place - Tito

check out tito's record at Welter and his title defenses, who else has rained in that division for so long, & he never lost there. SRR is still All time Number 1 thou

Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Sugar Ray Leonard, Trinidad. Hearns is up there, maybe if he had stayed at welter and had a little better chin.

his title opposition was kind of weak though. nice wins over young contenders campas and carr, controversial win over oscar, win over old coked-out whitaker, shot blocker, and not much else of note.
