    Rate The Blow's chin...

The Blow, aka Joe Blow, aka Calzaghe.

How do you rate that chin, 5 being average, 10 being perfection. I haven't gone all the way down to 1 (for an Audley Harrison chin) because that's clearly ridiculous, but I have dropped to a 4 for those that wish to suggest it's below average.

After watching him take some pretty clean hard shots from Kessler last Sunday, I'd say it ranks up there....Probably 9...

Solid 9.....I don't think it's James Toney solid but it's up there.

Its pretty damn solid. Not quite Baldomir or Toney, but its been tested. A nine I says.

Calzaghe has pretty much the best chin in boxing today. It takes one hell of a shot to put him down, and even then he clears his head and regains his feet in seconds. If you really want to know how good Joes chin is, ask all the supposed "big punchers" he walked through like they were nothing.

            I think I went OTT when I gave it a 10.

I disagree that Toney's chin is THAT great though... a heck of a lot of it is down to his rolling with the punches. The Blow was taking flush shots on Saturday and laughing in the guy's face.

I've only seen him in the Kessler fight, But He took some real crisp uppercuts, from Kessler early on when kessler still had alot of pop in those punches, He also took some straight rights all night long, that he seemed to walk right through. I gave him a 7 because I was def. impressed with his chin but I'd like to see some other fights and watch him take some different punches from different fighters before I get ahead of myself, anyone got a clip of a joe C. fight I should watch, where his chin was tested?, Or has this been his toughest test? As a matter of fact I'd like to know who you all thought was his toughest test, as far as his chin is concerned.

Byron Mitchell. He has The Blow on the deck and is looking to take him out, when The Blow drops him in return.

The only other time he's been down is against Karbery Salem, but that's no indication as he was going through a divorce and didn't want to be there.

So, you gave him a 7 because you haven't seen that many of his fights? That's logical...

Yeah, a 7, Here is my logic, I saw him get hit hard and I saw him take a step back after he got hit with the second uppercut in round 4, no doubt it was a hell of a punch that joe recoverd from very quickly, but how logical would it be for me to rate him a 9 or 10 after one fight, Basically I know hes got a chin based on this fight, so I have to rate him higher than average, But if 10 is the best chin around, I haven't seen enough to legitmatley make that claim. You tell me where the logic fails. The only other option is not to vote.
