If Cotto gets past Mosley, and Floyd gets past Hatton, a fight with Cotto would be the most logical matchup for both fighters. It will push Cotto into the #1 WW contender spot. A showdown with Cotto could net Floyd 10-15mil. For someone who claims to be such a smart buisness man, would that be smart to turn down just because he doesnt like Arum?. Is Floyd really that damn sensitive? Personally, i dont even see Floyd getting past Williams. But since Floyd says that he is only interested in BIG FIGHTS from now on, what other opponents are out there for Floyd in order for it to be classified as a "big fight"? Oscar/Floyd II ?.........nah. Most fans were turned off by thier first glorified sparring session.

Mayweather says one thing today, another thing tomorrow. Next week he will be saying something else. It is a good idea to ignore that chatter of 6 years olds.

Arum offered Floyd 8 million dollars to fight Margarito. Who exactly in the 4-8 spots would be the money draws you're referring to?
Actually, it's not hate, it's quite the opposite.

I am saying Margarito is the next best option after Cotto. The blank spots are symbolic of what I believe is a wide financial discrepancy between those first three fights and everything else out there for Floyd, of which Margarito is the best option.

Floyd wants shane moesley because he might think there is more money in it, regardless if cotto wins on saturday, i personally hope floyd fights him if he beats hatton. Regardless the general concensus at the moment is that shame is more of a threat to floyd than cotto is, so im not sure floyd is ducking cotto yet, personally, i havent seen anything from cotto to make me think he beat mayweather.

see, floyd learned from arum. just like oscar did.

arum is good at teaching his fighters how to con people.

You guys are so close, yet so far. Floyd is setting the stage. Controversy sells. He is starting the smack talking now, he is gonna say no, no and no to cotto/arum once a day and twice on Sundays. He know that he can't cement his so called legacy w/o taking on the biggest challenge of his career. If Cotto beats shane on Saturday that will propel him to be the #2 WW in the world. Floyd knows what he is doing. I do not like the guy, I do respect his skills. He can't hang around dodge city all day long, Cotto will become Mayor of that City sooner rather than later.

PBF: I got all the money in the world already. Im set. I want to fight the best

PBF: They aint no money fighting him, why should I?

Lol every Floyd thread is guaranteed 3 pages or more. Just off of his words alone. Not even a fight.

Cotto won't win so this doesn't really matter. Cotto would be an easier fight than Mosley.
