Good list, but I'd have Ibragimov with the first two and I don't think his chin is really in question. He looked bad against Holyfield, but everyone is entitled to an off night.

I was thinking of being put down by Austin. Also I put him there because I can't shake the feeling that he just seems beatable

I think chris arreola beats all the up and coming you mention....Arreola is starting to get recognition by the television producers and is appearing more frequently than before....Next year is his breakout season

The more I see areolla and I like watching him A LOT but he is so flawed. His defense is lacking he wings many of his punches and his compation has not been that good. He is one of the most exciting however but he is limited unfortunetly. Believe me I really really wanted to add him to the list but could not bring myself to do so untill he fights sombody with a pulse.

Chambers really didn't strike me as anything special. Yes, he's fast but that's about it. Byrd was also fast but he was 10 times more active and won his fights on that. Chambers is also soft, he is not a natural HW and the first powerful boxer who knows how to do a jab-body-head combination with a moderate speed will knock him out.

Ibragimov is nothing special IMO as well. He's a good all-around fighter but he is not particularly fast or powerful. Old Holyfield was able to hit him flash pretty much when he wanted to (too bad he only started to do that in the last 3 rounds). I think he would lose to Chagaev and Wlad if they ever fought.

Valuev will probably become Guinn pretty soon.

I'm just not sold on Povetkin still, although defeating Donald and Byrd in his 13th and 14th fight is very impressive. He's a bit chubby, has problems with defense, and is not as powerful as he was said to be. If he knocks Chambers out, he will get beaten by Wlad with relative ease IMO. He could give Ibragimov, Maskaev, and Chagaev a run for their money though.

I was going to mention Arreola as well, but your right his defense scares me against the big punchers in the division. I would like to see him fight a quality opponent in the up and coming year to see where he really stands, because he's definitely fun to watch.

I thought by this time boytsov would have proven himself but he really seems to have fallen off and has not fought anyone of note

I would rate Maskaev and Brock much higher on that list. Def over Rahman, Toney, and Byrd

Boytsov had major problems with his back. He is fighting in December again, he has spent the last year trying to get back on track.
