Actually I understand exactly where Nordon is coming from. Did Floyd win "a belt" at 140? Yes. Did he beat the legitimate champion at 140? NO WAY. We know who that was and his name was Kostya Tszyu. Floyd didn't win **** at 140, so don't even claim it.

Here's a good way to analyze it. Go back to the classic weights and one championship belt. Instead of six relevant weight divisions and 18 total belts, you would have three belts at Lightweight, Welterweight, and Middleweight.

No way does Floyd compete for Middleweight...NO WAY. Strike that belt off.
Let's assume for sake of argument that he wins the Lightweight belt. Now does he win the Welterweight belt? Answer: NO WAY. From 2003-2006 you would have had the following contending for the Welterweight belt: Kostya Tszyu, Shane Mosely, Miguel Cotto and the list goes on.... Floyd has severe problems getting any other belt but the Lightweight, and even at Lightweight he has his troubles...ie...Casamayor, Castillo, etc....

With classic weight divisions and one belt, Floyd can't jump around knocking off tomato cans to claim championships.
