Calzaghe beat a better boxer than Mikkel Kessler in better fashion seven years ago (in Richie Woodhall)

Agreed, his style is far more about his boxing than power these days due to his injuries. In a lot of ways that's far more impressive.

Imo, both Kessler and Calz is overrated.. I wouldn't say Joe is shot though, but you've already clarified by stating that he isn't "totally shot"..

Calzaghe was grossly under-rated until last year, but now he's grossly over-rated

It's insane on both counts, IMO

And Kessler seems to be over-rated, too

He is not shot, he fought in a different style relying more on his jab.

Hopkins is shot, thats why he pulled a hatton on Winky Wright. Hbo.com, the ones who make the contracts have already said that Joe Calzaghe has been trying to get fights with Hopkins/Jones Jr for years and both have ask for a ridiculous amounts of money. And hbo would know since their the ones who make the contracts. Those two have been ducking Calzaghe for a long time. Joe wants Hopkins bad, he wants redemption for Hopkins ducking him. This is the fight you might see hopkins get ko'd. I think Joe is pissed

Hopkins is going on 43 years old, plus this thread isn't about him, so why use him as a scapegoat?
