I'm just countering what other people come up with about Floyd Mayweather
      .
yeah fair do's if the guy wants to fight how he does and he is winning then go ahead, but that doesn't mean when he says he will go toe to toe and doesn't or is the best ever boxer to have ever lived that i will agree with it. unfortunately boxing is not a sport like soccer where matches are set. boxers make a living from fight to fight and what they are like.

hamed made a name for himself for his antics.

tyson with his along with his ko power.

muhammed ali had great fights and a great fluid articulate mouth.

these attributes made them who they were, but not everyone liked them. this is how i feela bout floyld for saying he is the ebst ever. for bad mouthing people in a nasty way. i mean it may be for sales, but i htink he does genuinely have a nasty dirty mouth. i myself ddo not like that sort of thing. it's just my opinion.

i like joe for the way he carries himself. he's a nice guy and i like the way he boxes. in his earlier fights he would use ko power but his hands are troubling him so he has changed his style btw.

not if u are the favorite to win like floyd was hes never been an underdog in his life because he handpick opponents he can easily beat

at the opposite calzague defeated lacy when he was a 7-1 underdog and didnt settle for "just doing enough to win" like mayweather

well i don't think that the style floyld has would get into trouble with a heavier, slower guy who had a fight over a eyar ago and was otu of prime.

i mean having 1 stone may help with power, but generally a heavier guy ahs slower hands.

oh and ps. 13 million dollars anytime. the chances of getting seriously injured is rare. that's why they have gloves and medicals

I'd hardly put Jeff Lacy in the same League as Oscar De La Hoya.

              i

That's your way of seeing things. What I saw was Delahoya having every advantage in that fight. He picked the gloves, he picked the size. He was the stronger fighter in there.

The May 5th 2007 Delahoya would have beaten alot of the current prime welterweights people are talking about. Specially one Miguel Cotto.

The Jeff Lacey that fought Calzaghe was p4p better fighter than the Oscar that fought Floyd. Lacey only called a bum now because he lost.

well i see a lot of fighters who fight similar to oscar losing. i also feel that the best way to beat oscar is by hit and move considering he was perhaps not as sharp as he could have been especially stamina wise. althoguh oscar has the quality to have given floyld a fairly close fight, i just didn't enjoy it.

find one reputable source or boxing organization that had jeff lacy as a p4p fighter.. lacy could never rank higher then de la hoya on any level. and lacy is not called a bum because he lost he is a bum

Translation: Technicians (see Whitaker-Delahoya for details)

And like I said Miguel Cotto and Kermit Cintron would both get knocked out by the current version of Oscar Delahoya.

So saying that Floyd fought a old 50 year old whatever fight is bs.
Floyd defeated a very good fighter in Oscar that night who was bigger and stronger then him and was still a very fast handed fighter.
