    Hopkins P4P ...Why?

Can someone explain why Hopkins is rated so high on peoples P4P list when he suffered two defeats against Taylor....{who has himself just lost) and beat an out of shape Winky..

Anyway...please enlighten me to your thoughts on Hopkins being rated higher than say....Oh I don't know......Calzaghe for example..

By the way...No way Hopkins fights Calzaghe...he's ducked him in the past and knows he'll get his ass kicked if they fight now...

Just as well as Hopkins would make it a boring scrap..

its a bit like the US presedential election. If you tell everyone you have won, pretty soon they start believing you.

Most American fighters are overrated, and most non-american fighters are underrated.

Hopkins has never really impressed me.

I don't know, probably because Hopkins defended his title 20 times against decent comp while completely cleaning out the middle weight division (KOing a couple of HOFers in the process), then moving up and punishing the consensus lightweight champ and then another hall of famer. Maybe because Calzaghe's resume is littered with bums, I don't know.

Might have something to do with Hopkins fighting much better fighters than Calzaghe, and also the fact he has beaten better fighters than Calzaghe has.

And no, for the 100th time, Mikkel Kessler is not better than De La Hoya, or Winky Wright or Roy Jones Jr.

If you respect B-Hops achievements.. You have to respect Calzaghes..
