    The Italian Arturo Gatti.

Floyd was just following Tszyu's example. Without the ugly beatdown from a journeyman, of course.

          So Wiley Hyena my friend.
How do I bet all my points on Mayweather vs. Hatton?
I'm not being a smart ass. I just have never put a bet on this website.

imagine floyd or oscar only fighting in their hometown throughout their entire careers.
You are just making things up now. Calzaghe has not had any hometown decisions not least because he does not always fight in his hometown but more importantly because he doesn't need decisions. You are too ****** to understand anything about the geography of anywhere outwith the United States and believe me you sound exactly that when you come away with this pish. And since you're mentioning dodgy decisions what happened when Castillo fought Mayweather first time around? Or how about when the Golden Boy took on Felix Sturm? Who was getting gift decisions then?

Exhibit #1: KOSTYA TSZYU DENIES DEAL TO FIGHT HATTON

According to a recent report by GRANTLEE KIEZA, Kostya Tszyu has again confirmed there is no deal to fight hard-hitting Englishman Ricky Hatton for $5million. Two weeks ago Tszyu told The Daily Telegraph exclusively that he wasn't fighting Hatton on March 5 in Manchester as the British press had announced and was forced to repeat his position yesterday after reports out of England saying a deal had been made.

Before heading off to his native Russia to collect a major award from President Vladimir *****, Tszyu said yesterday: "I am not fighting Ricky Hatton in Manchester anytime soon.

"I can't believe Hatton's promoter [Frank Warren] is still saying I am fighting him because there has been no deal made.

"Right now I am having a holiday for a few weeks and just enjoying time with my wife and kids. When it is time to fight again we will see who is on offer. But I promised my family I would not be training over Christmas so I will certainly not be fighting again by March."

When told that Warren said he had a verbal agreement with Tszyu's American-based promoter Vlad Warton, Tszyu smiled and said: "I decide who I fight, no one else."

Tszyu said he was far more interested in an offer of $10.5 million from American promoter Murad Muhammad to fight WBC champion Arturo Gatti and former world junior-lightweight and lightweight champion Floyd Mayweather.

"I want to fight them both," Tszyu said. "They mean a lot more on the world scene than Ricky Hatton." 12-14-2004

              and now for the facts:
Zoo went on to fight hatton for 5 million in 2005 not floyd or gatti two fighters ranked higher then hatton at the time and as zoo admitted more important on the world scene.

now who was dodging who again. based on your article zoo wanted floyd or gatti but opted for the lower ranked not universally recognized ricky hatton. why didn't zoo go for the more high profile fight against floyd zoo took on the weaker comp in hatton for a reason

              Exhibit #2: KOSTYA TSZYU INTERVIEW

Scoop: Comment on fighting Floyd Mayweather...

Kostya Tszyu: "It would be a great fight. I fought his uncle (Roger-W 12 in '95 in Newcastle, Australia) who's training him now. It would be good to fight him too. I remember after Olympic Games ('96) we were in same room as Bob Arum, he just started his career. I already was world champion. It would be a good, good matchup. If the short time will be able to produce this match, it will be a great fight."

notice the date of the article oct 2004. Zoo had a fight in nov of 2004 against sharmba after that fight zoo went into immediate negotiations with frank warren to set up a fight with ricky hatton. even the previous article posted above shows that zoo took the easy fight in hatton and by passed floyd at 140.

the question for you is why did zoo say in the dec 14th article he wanted floyd and then wind up fighting hatton in 2005 a fighter he admitted wasn't on floyd's level

floyd vs castillo was a fair decision and was not rendered in floyd's hometown. unlike the miranda vs abraham fight and so many other fixed fioghts that have taken place in europe. the list is so long it is a known fact that american fighters should never fight in europe or they will get robbed.

So far you have offered no examples of dubious decisions which Calzaghe benefited from which proves that you are talking **** and in your desperation to display your vast geographical knowledge of America it obviously escaped your attention that Castillo and Mayweather are from different countries and it wasn't Mexico they were fighting in.

                    No comment on Kostya Tszyu.

I can't waste much time on that guy. He got ****ted on by a journeyman...and ran from that guy his whole career. Instead of trying to avenge that brutal loss, he takes on 38 yr old Leija.

Because Floyd showed no interest in the offer to fight Tszyu.
