You created a thread, which I don't even bother reading, but judging by its title you were NOT impressed with Calzaghe's performance last night.

My question to you is this...

If you cannot appreciate the skills Calzaghe demonstrated in the ring, showing a heart of a champion, willing to take all the risks, not backing down, trading, even in the final rounds when he had the fight sealed, he still did not run...

So WHY DO YOU NUTHUG Mayweather so much?

Possible answers:
He is an American
He is NOT white
I like his arrogance

calzaghe couldn't carry floyd's jock strap. beating lacy and kessler don't compare to 5 titles in 5 weight classes defeating 4 HOFers, 5 p4p fighters 12 former champions 17-0 in championship fights all while remaining undefeated If you cal-slappy boys want to paraise your boy go for it, but don't even think to mention floyd with a protected fighter like calzaghe who never won one-title out of 168, and was afraid to face roy because he thought roy was superhuman.

good point. im a big kessler fan ,i hate joe, and even i give him props he did great , he sure as hell entertained me .

Kessler is GREAT.. he won my heart as a fan last night..
But Calzaghe also showed what a TRUE champ is. Kessler is a dangerous fighter, a great fighter.. and Calzaghe stood there in the middle ate those huge uppercuts and did not back down.

22 Title defence, 10 years as a reigning champ and even with that I would be foolish to compare this to Mayweather's achievements. Nevertheless,
it's not WHAT fights you win, it's HOW you win them. Sorry kid, but showing your superior boxing skills and running in case of any danger doesn't do it for me.

You're dead wrong, it was RJJ who ducked Calzaghe because he thought he was too hungry and dangerous. Just a couple of days ago RJJ was telling everyone about how he told Taylor to duck Pavlik because he was too dangerous, lol. RJJ constantly exposes his own character and he just did it again.

By the way, Calzaghe would KO a prime RJJ, it would be even more brutal than the Tarver and Johnson KO's.

You're dead wrong, it was RJJ who ducked Calzaghe because he thought he was too hungry and dangerous. Just a couple of days ago RJJ was telling everyone about how he told Taylor to duck Pavlik because he was too dangerous, lol. RJJ constantly exposes his own character and he just did it again.

That was not what RJJ said. The interview is on BS videos. Roy wanted to fight taylor FIRST, and they were telling Roy that they will get to him AFTER Pavlik. And Roy told them that Pavlik will beat him.
