Did Hopkins beat anyone good that was his own size?

He lost twice to Jermain Taylor. Jermain "average" Taylor. Yes, he lost twice to Jermain Taylor.

Who did Kessler beat, that could make you think he'd cleanly beat a prime b-hop?

His opposition before Saturday was better than Taylor's before facing Hopkins.

i think that to be a p4p you need to beat big names, but i have no doubt that kessler has it in him to be there. he just needs to be able to adjust to a fight more. other that that i htink he is pretty sound. joe has incredible fast hands for a smw and there's nothing you can do about that.

You always want to talk names, like an NSB addict.

When you want to know who wins a fight, you watch each of the fighters, carefully analyze their punching and defense, and work out all the relevant punch scenarios in your head. If you do that you pick almost every winner. If you go by names you make a fool of yourself.

I don't necessarily agree that Kessler would beat a prime Hopkins but why is the opposition the only thing that matters? Surely there are other factors which are as of as much, if not more, importance?

So you couldnt answer the question at the 2nd attempt. Tell ya what, when you work out the answer let me know, you said Kessler would cleanly beat bhop, and i wanna know which guy Kessler beat that could make you think that.

If you think im being unfair to you, make a thread saying Kessler would cleanly beat a prime hopkins and see the response you get.

MOZZA: Im not getting involved too much in the general thread title, calzaghe is obviously not the biggest fraud in boxing history, i just picked up on a comment from Kayjay which i completely disagreed with.
