I honestly have to agree with you.Yesterday was the first time I saw him fight,and honestly I am not impressed at all.I'm not hating on him,he is a very good champ but nothing out of the ordinary.I don't understand why everybody says he is a great boxer and all this,he's sloppy,doesn't have any boxing skills,and has regular power.I honestly thought he was going to be something spectacular the way evrybody talks about him,but I just wasn't impressed.I don't know maybe I missed something.

can you judge a fighter on one fight? i've seen 15 of his fights and he is good. i mean at 35 a lot of boxers would be down hill with some exceptions liek hopkins who is just unique.

watch the lacy fight and see joe at his best.

he's had maybe 4 more fights that are better than this in terms of excitement.

in his younger days when his left hand was not breaking, he would ko people. i agree he was sloppy compared to how he normally is. he usually is sharp and throws a lot more punches. i think that kessler made him not look as good as he can be also. anwyay please watch more of his fights and perhaps you will like him more cheers man

This thread is a joke. Calzaghes display yesterday was close to perfect. His unorthodox hand speed is simply amazing. He is near impossible to fight. You guys are denying the obvious. Open your eyes.

You've only seen calzaghe fight once, and your claiming that he has no boxing skills?

You are right with one thing you say in your post - "maybe I missed something". That is an understatment.
