Joe would have a hard time, but he definitely wins.

He wins against a young Nard too.

If this fight happens I have to go with Calzaghe. I should have learned my lesson about betting against Hopkins after the Winky fight since Hop always finds a way to win, but I can't see him winning this one due to Calzaghe's activity and Hop's lack of activity. Plus people say Hop is too smart to give in to Joe's fight style but on the same page Joe's got a damn good IQ and generalship in the ring too.

It would be an ugly and close fight.

LETS DO IT IN YANKEE STADIUM!!

Thats exactly what I thought in the Winky fight but I was wrong. B-Hop figured Winky out and limited his punch output.

I'd give Hopkins a chance, just because I don't think he would crumble like these new guys when pressured with limp punches.

This would be a chess match for sure.

People need to realize though; Bernard Hopkins doesn't make mistakes.

Calzaghe makes a grip of tactical errors. EVERYtime.

Workrate? I already addressed that one.

Watch Hopkins/Wright for anyone who's confused.

I thought the same thing and even lost money going with Winky but there is a big difference. Joe has always fought at 168 and just showed tonight that he can keep the activity level up through all 12 rounds. Winky had never fought over 160 and fought mostly at 154 and I the added weight had an effect through the fight. Plus as much as I like Winky he doesn't have the ring generalship and versatility Joe has. Winky almost always comes forward using his jab and covering up just like he tried with Hop and when he got thrown off his gameplan by Hop's holding and butting he seemed like he kind of gave up mentally and didn't try to change his gameplan which won't happen to Calz.
