lol , I didn't think about that. ahhaha. Honestly, I want to see this fight, I want to see how B-Hop would react to the high pace that Joe will bring. That's really intriguing for me.

Hopkins' game plan would probably be headbutt, uppercut and clinch headbutt, uppercut clinch over and over again and it still wouldn't be enough to beat Joe. Probably go to the cards as Calzaghe's left hand looks wrecked with all the injuries. I watched some of my Calzaghe fight tapes of him in against Mitchell,Eubank,Sheika,Veit and some of his early domestic fights he seemed he punched a lot harder with the left and more fluid which is a shame because I'd love to the ol' Popkins get KTFO

I think Calzaghe wins on punch output in an ugly and dirty close fight. The way to beat Joe is to make it an ugly fight and noone is better than Hopkins at doing that, the trouble with Nard is that he doesn't do much and he looks like he isn;t doing much so Calzaghe would take a decision becuase he's more aggressive.

Man!.. This is such a tough call.

            I won't pick against Bernard.

            I won't pick against Joe.

            But I would have to..

Joe himself put several thousand pounds on Hopkins over Wright.

He called the fight a "no brainer." I agree, and Joe is exactly on the right page. It would be goddamned hard to pick this..

Bernard is getting OLD.. Calzaghe has slowed..

But it would still be an unbelievable demonstration of skill.

The Boxing IQ in the ring would be perhaps NO HIGHER than it has ever been. EVER EVER EVER.

                I agree on that.

You would have to give the edge to Calzaghe on workrate.

Two things though; first, Hopkins would be making Calzaghe PAY for the kind of mistakes Joe often makes as the more exctiting fighter. Second, Hopkins is not completely incapable of dramatically increasing his output as he demonstrated in utterly outworking Winky Wright.

Joe couldn't be sloppy with Bernard and get away with it.

                Not for a second.

u can never count a sly cat like Bernard Hopkins out...never...he may be old, but he's like Shang Tsung from mortal kombat lol...but I don't know who wins honestly at this point, both are very disciplined, skilled, smart veterans...and joe showed he can adjust and step it up a notch whenever he felt like it n didn't decide to play too safe....but also B-hop's preference is fighting southpaws, since he finds it easier for him, he's what 10-0?...fighting bernard is like a vietnam war, u'll never be the same after a slow execution or dismantling...

win or lose, hopkins would be joe's final hurrah...

I got Hopkins. He can't lose to a guy that's as wild and uncalculated as the great Calzaghe can be at times. Bernard has no problems with pressure fighters. He eats them up. He'll be picking Joe off way too much and moving out. That wild **** ain't happening.

Now, Joe's Boxing skills are going to make Bernard look bad plenty.. But Hopkins has the games tightest envelope. NOTHING can take him out of it.

I say Hopkins wins a tight one on conservative, calculated perfection.

We saw what happened here when Joe initates..

People need to see what Bernard has become. Watch his last two fights.

I've got Bernard Hopkins without any doubt. None.
