If there is a matchup like Floyd and Ricky, in which one person is trying to pressure the other guy, and the other one is backing up and trying to outbox the other, and the guy who backs up is more effective with HIS strategy (i.e. he hits the other guy with more shots, more accurately, more often) then HE wins the fight. But then you have those people who say "MAN ALL HE DID WAS RUN!". No, he boxed, and avoided being hit. If your strategy was to corner him and beat him down, and YOU failed to do that, then YOU deserve to lose the fight.

I don't see where the confusion set in. Thats the way the game is played.

    Excellent post. Karma given

Very good post but it makes to much sense for the majority of the people here and definately the people who dislike PBF.

Boxing is "Hit and not be hit" and the referee always says Protect your self at all times.

Floyd is a good boxer and use whatever he has to get a convincing win.

I don't know what boxing you're watching... But I want to see MOFOs KTFO!

To KO a person somebody has to be hit its just that the person doing the hitting shouldn't get critized for not getting hit back if they can make the other person miss.

boxing is about entertaining the people who pay money to watch it whilst giving the fighters a living which they would otherwise probably not have.

If Floyd pulls another Baldomir performance, i can guarantee you that it will hurt his marketability for future fights. You really think HBO wants Floyd to put on another performance like that? All they care about is what puts asses in seats, and what generates ppv buys. How do u think Mayorga still headlines ppv's. He's an entertaining fighter who goes for the kill. Look at Winky and Spinks. Its hard for them to headline a ppv and sell out an arena because the majority of fans dont care to see them. They have a boring style. Do u really think that the promoters, and sponsers behind the Hatton-Floyd fight want high profile celebrities walking out of the arena mid-fight again? Hell no. Floyd claims that he's such a smart buisness man right? So in that case, entertaining the fans and having them want to pay to see you is a MAJOR part of the "buisness" He can only ride the coattails of famous/highprofile opponents for so long.

People yall must come to the realization that every fan is not entertained by the samethings. What certain fans find boring you can find just as many fans who felt it was exciting and good. Live with everybody doesn't need to be in agreement on what is exciting and what is not. To each his own.

WINNING IS MORE IMPORTANT AS ONCE YOU WIN, YOU SEE BIGGER FIGHTS AGAINST BETTER OPPONENTS, IF YOU LOSE YOU DONT EARN $.

All these people here who say its boring, this and that. Ok fine then DONT watch the fight, go and watch UFC. (I bet you will still watch floyd even after saying that you wont).
                      Yeah.

Run like a chicken from a smaller man with a smaller reach. Not to worry as the judges will surely give Fake Floyd a gift decision.
