Mayweather should do a Baldomir on Hatton

Yeah I dont give a **** about ******s who cant appreciate boxing skills, you might find it boring but its the sweet science, what is boxing? Hit and not be hit. I dont care what happens, Winning is more important and Legacy is more important, Floyd should do the same thing win by a wide UD by Outboxing his opponent.

WINNING IS MORE IMPORTANT AS ONCE YOU WIN, YOU SEE BIGGER FIGHTS AGAINST BETTER OPPONENTS, IF YOU LOSE YOU DONT EARN $.

All these people here who say its boring, this and that. Ok fine then DONT watch the fight, go and watch UFC. (I bet you will still watch floyd even after saying that you wont).

I was actually thinking the same thing. He did SHUT Baldomir out in a 12 round bout. Hatton's chin can't compare to Baldomirs so the fight wouldn't be boring but it would be brutal.

****** post, ****** thread. What are you talking about? Who are you talking about? "Can't appreciate boxing skills," then you give us some cliches. Thanks for wasting my time!

What has Hatton to do with Baldomir?

kj most of the members who find fights boring of good fighters like Hopkins, Mayweather, RJJ, etc. say UFC is better than Boxing because its exciting, what im saying is if they cant appreciate boxing they should **** off to UFC, I mean UFC is good I like it too, but they downplay boxing thats what pisses me off. Boxing is "Hit and not be hit" and the referee always says Protect your self at all times.

Floyd is a good boxer and use whatever he has to get a convincing win.

I don't know about UFC being more exciting, I don't think that. But I do get annoyed when someone moves backwards or continually moves more than a half step out of range. That's my taste.

But more importantly, Hatton is nothing at all like Baldomir. This fight cannot look like that one. Floyd needs to throw more punches in this fight and he can't simply duck and take two huge steps to the left.

He wont do a Baldomir though because he can hurt Hatton, and he's about the same size if not a couple pounds lighter on fight night. He mix it up with Hatton quite a bit.

And that's not even counting int he fact that Hatton is a completely different fighter, with a lot more skills offensively.

Boxing is about hitting and not being hit, and I didn't find the Baldomir fight boring at all. Sometimes people act as if moving backwards is some kind of sin. The bottom line is this: There are two men in the ring, each equipped with exactly the same tools (2 hands, and 2 feet.) If there is a matchup like Floyd and Ricky, in which one person is trying to pressure the other guy, and the other one is backing up and trying to outbox the other, and the guy who backs up is more effective with HIS strategy (i.e. he hits the other guy with more shots, more accurately, more often) then HE wins the fight. But then you have those people who say "MAN ALL HE DID WAS RUN!". No, he boxed, and avoided being hit. If your strategy was to corner him and beat him down, and YOU failed to do that, then YOU deserve to lose the fight.

I don't see where the confusion set in. Thats the way the game is played.
