Ike was waaaaaaaaaay better, more skilled, and tougher than Tyson. thats not even a comparison. thats why Tyson ducked Ike. if Ike did not go to jail, he would have been dominate for a long time.

For once I agree with a Tyson fan.

No he ****ing wasn't. Ibeabuchi didn't have even near the speed Tyson had. He didn't put punches together as well, and he didn't have the same head movement. He just walked forward with a good stiff jab, and he was really strong. Skill wise, him and Tyson aren't in the same league.

a fresh, younger chris byrd could give iron mike quite a bit of trouble. yeah, i think chris could outbox tyson and run the points on him to a victory. byrd has/had a very good ability to absorb punches, so he could hold up to tyson's punches providing he doesn't take too many too soon. however, byrd isn't a ****** fighter, so he knows not to stand in the pocket and trade with tyson. also, after both klitschkos, i imagine tyson would feel a bit more managable to byrd since there is not that fairly large height difference.

He COULD outbox a prime Tyson. Bryd is slick and as crafty as you can get. Prime Tyson was a monster though so I wouldn't give Chris much of a chance.

I could just see tyson getting frusterated after the first few rounds and give up his game plan and just start lunging in with big shots and missing

No. Byrd was a great fighter but with Tyson in his prime as well he pretty much could have beat anybody.

Well Tony Tucker held his own against a prime tyson and a young Byrd had MUCH more boxing ability than Tucker did.
