no it doesn't, all that matters is being ahead on points before you quit/the fight is stopped

Sorry mate, I may have misunderstood the question but....if you are not healthy enough to continue then of course you lose?

That's the main aim of the sport?

Like I said I may have misunderstood the question!

if that was the case you could put everything you had into the first round then just quit and still win!

he means like, if ur cut in the 6th and they have to stop it because of a cut..
i dont know.. it should be an automatic rematch in my opinion..
even tho itll be a tko or technical decision

if you are cut, tough luck in my opinion, you should lose. If you get injured in any way, same applies, unless its the result of an illegal shot.

              Look....

Forget Vitali and his injury against Byrd...

Mayweather can be beating the **** out of Gatti for 10 rounds and than breaks both of his hands and is unable to continue...

Of course Gatti gets the W, but did he really beat Mayweather, does it mean he is a better boxer??

I always compare it to the game of pool.
8 ball - Let's say I get all of my balls in and you still have all of yours on the table... I can be 10x better player than you are... but I scratch on the 8 ball and loose the game.

Of course I lost, but does that mean that YOU beat me?? NO!
I'm still a better player who just f'ed up and gave you a gift win!

well breaking both your hands is a physical weakness, same as getting KTFO by a weak shot or not having any power.

I'm not arguing that it's a loss dummy....

I'm saying that losses can be different.
you beatting me is different than me losing to you.

If I lose, that does not mean you beat me and/or better than me.. it's just means that I lost.

and i`m saying that losses which relate to physical weakenesses aren`t different.
