Boxing is a sport of hit and don't get hit. Mayweather is just so good defensivly that no one can force him to fight. I'm sick of people thinking that to be a good boxer you have to go for the KO everytime and just punch like a ****** for 12 rounds.

that is a boring and cowardly way to fight. on top of that he fights weak opponents. he is running from bums in the ring and running from the best outside the ring. he is the best example of why we dont need businessman in boxing.

go back and actually watch a few of his fights, like Chavez, Burton (augustus), and ndou, and tell me that you still think he is a coward.

He fought FOTY brawls with all of those guys, when he had the skill and finess to EASILY outpoint them.

Mayweather has just been in with some bigger guys recently, and he is reduced to a one-punch at a time fighter.

He'll show what he can do against Hatton, which is unfortunate cause i really like Hatton

Until he got to 147 I found him entertaining too.
His last 3 fights haven't been pretty.
My humble opinion.

Zab Judah- Former undisputed WW champion, probably the most skilled boxer in the divison.
Carlos Baldomir- Undisputed WW champion at the time of the fight and a good solid boxer with wins over Judah and Gatti.
Oscar De La Hoya- No matter his age, he is still one of the best boxers in the world. If he had not fought him. People would have said he ducked him.

Add a prime Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales on there along with Genaro Hernandez and you have one fine resume.

Let me ask you, who would you have rather had him fought? Mosley was not avaliable at the time of the De-La Hoya fight. Cotto still is not proven enough or a big enough draw for a mega fight right now. Mayweather has a very good resume and should fight the aforementioned soon, if he wins against Hatton who by the way is a P4P level fighter. Who would you rather have him fight ANTONIO MARGARITO?
