This is a beat down, Margarito would be locked up for attempted murder.

anytime you put two mexican in the ring together you will get a great fight and a war. i would love to see this happen because there are to many cowards in the welterweight division but you know tony would knock gomez out.

Didn't he essentially ride his silver medal to a fat paycheck on HBO? Gomez, I heard, didn't get paid for his first fight.. Compared to the thousands Jones recieved for his first bout. Bit of a double-standard, don't ya think?
Did you just compare Gomez to Roy?

        ....Wow.

He almost got ko'd by ben tackie, and peter manfredo is a ***** super middle weight he should be in a lower weight class.

I didn't compare skill, if that's what your asking. I compared the roads they travelled to stardom. Which is a fair comparison. By the way, Roy JOnes wasn't very fundamentally sound. He was average in that regard. He had fast hands, reflexes and quick feet. Once he lost that, he's being shown as the average skilled fighter that he woulda been WITHOUT those NATURAL gifts. Not hating on the guy, he won me TONS of money. A spade is a spade, at the end of the day.
