As much as I hate to say it, I think Margarito's punch output overwhelms Gomez.

    Margarito late KO/UD.

Margarito would murder the little twat Gomez. And it's probably Margarito's best shot at getting a belt ever again. He'd become a bit more popular because, as much as I hate to admit it, guys from the "Contender" seem to have a following in this sport. But up against a real fighter they typically get eaten alive. I see the same for Gomez in the future, be it Margarito or someone else.

I disagree, out of the contenders' bunch Gomez seems to be the toughest fighters. He was fighting guys much bigger than him and he was standing his ground. I think his ideal weight is 140. But I would think that Gomez is a live dog against Clottey, Judah, and Berto.

Clottey maybe, but I'd pick both Judah and Berto to detonate him.

I don't think he would last against any of these guys. The only guys I'd give him a shot against is Judah, assuming he withstands Judah's furious start I think he could win a close decision. Margarito and Berto would smack him around and Clottey would make him look foolish Ud'ing him very widely. He simply isnt elite, or than near in my opinion.

Gomez' skill, speed and especially boxing IQ is very underrated.
