i mean, lets think about this for a second. Juan really hasn't faced anyone with the kind of power that Pacquiao posseses. Even though Juan is pretty decent defensively, he DOES really just stand infront with little movement from his dome before he lets go.

he definatley has. diaz is a lightweight man. manny is coming up from 108 lbs or something like that. pacquiao's power will not be very effective to diaz since he is moving up. i think freitas and julio hits harder than manny. even at feather weight manny never had one punch knockout power. he has the kind power that can wear you down and stop you late. i just think diaz would be too much for manny.

Acelino Freitas after 30 fights, had a KO rate of above 93%. He's also bigger than Manny, so I'd say, Juan has a pretty decent beard.

You can argue Freitas, although he lost some of his pop when moving up in weight.

He's still bigger than Manny, and did carry a lot of his power with him. He rocked Corrales' head back a few times.

I think he could take the punches. I remember the fight with Frietas and Kellerman saying that it looks like the only way to put Diaz down and crush his determination is if you seperate him from his conscious. Like slicksouthpaw said Manny has those punches that wear you down not that one punch KO power. He could take the punches, but yeah his lack of head movement could be a problem.

I think it is safe to assume that Popo hits harder than Pacman

good replies fellas. it would be a very interesting fight seeing that both of them really are pressure fighters. judging by manny's last performance though, it looks like he's starting to think twice about his approach but that was just one performance.

if barrera knocked morales down, im pretty sure frietas can. if freitas was a featherweight, his power would be massive. he even stunned Juan with a straight right.
