Then you don't know anything about islam. He would always make it a point to promote Islam and the fact that the fight landed on one of the holiest Christian days isn't a coincidence.

Between the three major religions, Islam is the only one that advocates violence and hatred towards ***s and Christians.Surah 47-4 in the Quran says :"Therefore, WHEN YOU MEET THE UNBELIEVERS, SMITE AT THEIR NECKS; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost."

He tried to dissrespect Christianity and lost and could not recover from the embarassment of doing so. He was overated and a loud mouth that had no respect for the sport.

The Junior Jones fight set him back.

i have ****** friends and they say you can not discredit a christain or *** for their belief because they do believe in 1 god. thus you can't doubt them.

i htink non believr applies to anyone else.

well of course the ***ish /christian books wont say anything about ******s because Islam came after these two religions.

Also the bible has some pretty violent passages in it too!!

This thread is in danger of becoming lame.

Religion has no place in non-stop boxing. For it is a godless place.
              TAKE HEED YE INFIDELS!!!!!

Ive heard this idea before...that Hamed especially chose Easter to fight Barrera and make it into an Islam/Christianity thing.

Easter 2001 was from 12th -15th of April.
Hamed fought Barrera on the 7th of April.

Hamed fought McCullough on Halloween....does that make Hamed a witch???
                Maybe Hamed was the anti-christ!

What other of his fights were specifically placed to coincided with Christian holidays?

Personally, i think its just a pile of poo.
