    Right.

Because the money is not in the gate. The money is in PPV's. The casino-town venues aren't even that big.

You can't fit 500K into an arena, playboy.

And what does that have to do with what we are talking about?

Playboy, listen closely: NOBODY IS QUESTIONING HATTON'S FANBASE.

This fight is not about Hatton's 10K, 20K or even 50K traveling fans. It is essentially about the hundreds of thousands (or , hopefully, millions) that are buying the fight on PPV. Primarily here stateside.

Why are you so ****ing ******?

Hatton has three fights here in the states. None of them light up the papers/websites/airwaves. He made 2.5 mil in his last fight. There were empty seats in the arena.

Now, he goes to fight FMJ. The buzz is ridiculous. Five city tour. A zillion threads and articles. Ricky's earning jumps to $10 million. Arena sells out in 30 minutes. Tickets are selling for thousands.

        Why would that be?

Do you get it? I don't believe in insulting people online, but you are very disappointing. You are semi-******ed.

It means Hatton can sell out a 60,000 arena every 2 months in Manchester but he still won't get the career payday that he will be getting against Mayweather.

Selling out arenas in Europe is overrated. It's national pride why his fights sell out over there. He still needs those same people to come over here to support him, otherwise he would be fighting in a half empty arena.

Floyd represents Floyd.....no national pride. Nobody looks at Floyd as an American over here and goes watching his fights. They either pay to see the villain get beat or they pay to see him because they appriciate his skills and are fans.

Floyd/Delahoya sold more ppv's then Tito/Delahoya.....Why is that? It's because Floyd is a star. He may not be loved as other fighters but he is a big big star in the boxing world and he has alot of different fans.

Closet fans as well who hate his guts but pay to watch him every time.

Because Hatton sells 20K for Tszyu. Great. But the Vegas venues max at 16K.

            So it isn't an apples-to-apples.

The OBJECTIVE for the Vegas fight isn't to max the gate. Whereas in England, it is clear that they are very arena-focused.

A promoter will tell you that the gate/arena is one of the more problematic components of a fight: security, traffic, etc. Plus, the most profitable seats are non-rev. They are given to the casinos/high-rollers/ celebs.

            PPV is problem-free, logistics-free.

It has been about the PPV buy rates for approximately five minutes which is around the time you decided to twist the argument again to suit your agenda. There is a common link between you and Leonard Whatshisface: you both know what you are talking about and appear to be intelligent but when it comes to Ricky Hatton you both talk out your farters and would be best keeping them shut rather than polluting the airwaves with your putrid rubbish.

It may surprise you to know that I understand the concept of PPV and how much revenue it generates. The issue at hand is fanbase which is entirely different to how much a fighter can draw.

It will probably be a better fight as well.
