I have Cal #3 right now; this one win stuff is ******. One win over a guy U.S. fans accepted as good but there are lots of good fighters on his resume (not great; good). There is something to be said for consistently beating good comp without a single slip; no out of shpe nights etc.

There are easily 4 fighters within his own division that are much better opposition then Hatton in a lower division. Mayweather said it himself guys..... This fight wont do anything. He chose this fight for the money. Just like he's been doing for years.
real paid boxing critics also have him as the best fighter in the sport don't they? i mean, he could fight mosley, williams, cotto, and margarito and he would beat them all with williams being his toughest fight. he would kill cintron easily, which is why i didn't mention him. but, many people are saying that ricky has the style to give floyd a lot of trouble, so floyd sidcrediting hatton only enhances his legacy seeing how people feel hatton is a serious threat because of his pressuring style, and floyd just blows him out of the water just like everybody else he's fought. that's what you call confidence to the highest degree.

Well we don't know if Floyd could beat Mosely, Williams, Cotto, Margarito, or Cintron, because he'd rather fight a 140 pounder like Hatton than fight one of these extremely talented welterweights. And as far as Floyd "blowing Cintron out of the water like everyone else he's fought," even a tired inactive (1 fight in 3 years) De la Hoya fought him to a split decision in a fight that a lot of people thought Floyd lost, hardly blowing him out of the water, don't you think.

I'd agree, I'd say Floyd would be most comfotable at 140
Funny how he reckons he will have more chance of beating Hatton at 147 though and not 140 where the pair of them would be most comfortable

By going up to 154 to fight an inactive De La Hoya, and calling him self the best in the world (best of all time,) Floyd should at least fight SOMEONE from the talented welterweight division to help cement these claims. Or does he only care about money?

Calzaghe fought Peter Manfredo ffs and does'nt move out of wales
                  a) you clearly have no concept of what P4P actually means.
                  b) As a resident of Manchester (somewhere salubrious like Moss Side no doubt) you would have noticed that Calzaghe has a habit of fighting in your own ****ing town.

People like you who have to hate someone else just to make your own favourite look good make me sick.
