Bob Arum must have loved Floyd himself coming out and calling himself a businessman and not a fighter.

It's incredible that he would say some of this, but I actually think it does help his legacy a bit. It's not like Hopkins beating Tito (from relative unknown to superstar), but it is a nice addition to a solid, if not spectacular, resume.

While I'm not a PBF fan as far as his personality (as a boxer he has my utmost respect), I will say that if he beats Hatton and the Cotto-Mosley winner, he has nothing left to prove and deserves to be talked about as an all-time great.

        Let's hear the bull****.
so you admit that mayweather has become a coward and retired since castillo gave him 2 beatings in 2002?? judah did not deserve the fight because he lost to the bum baldomir and what did oscar do to get that fight but lose to sturm and hopkins back to back?? if it wasnt for the money theres no way oscar deserved the fight. castillo turned mayweather into a chicken.

i think Floyds just tryin to psych Hatton out, but i dont think that will work cause hatton has a pretty cool head about these things. On Another note...im just going to say they're both equal

no matter what youre opinion wont change no matter what is said, in a sense, you arent here to nessecarily be told whats good about mayweather, as much as youre simply going to tell us everything we already know you dont like about him.

Comon man. Its been over 4 years since this guy actually fought someone worthy. How can you respect that?

I wont argue anymore. Ive said what I wanted to say. Real paid boxing critics know exactly what im talking about. They know a phoney when they see one and thats why its the critics he's fighting. He did this to himself by not fighting the best during time of fight. Just like now. There are easily 4 fighters within his own division that are much better opposition then Hatton in a lower division. Mayweather said it himself guys..... This fight wont do anything. He chose this fight for the money. Just like he's been doing for years.

He'll give hatton credit after the fight. It's his way of hyping him up for the fight and trying to win the mental battle.

lol, man its so hilarious, i can remember back in 2004 when people on here were calling mayweather one of the most underappreciated underrated fighters in the game with cases being made for him to be p4p by the end of 05, and about how his resume was outstanding even before the post gatti era. i can respect a guy who moves up 5 times in natural weight and beats a guy much bigger than him, i can respect a guy capturing the linear title at 147, 4 weights above the weight he started, and then taking on a guy who is the king of 140 right now, i can definately respect that.

Of course, this isn't even a question.

Mayweather recognizes Calz. as in HIS OWN league. Calzaghe should ruightfully move to #2 p4p after he slaps Kessler. Hatton belongs at like #12 or #13
