He doesnt want a long lay off before the IBF shot, so he wants another fight first. There is no chance he'll fight a top 5 fighter so expect another tough but limited fighter.

Yup, I agree with Baya on this one. Actually, to say that Hatton walks through Tszyu, , Harris, Mitchell, or Mayweather is crazy. How can Ricky walk through the power of KZ? How can he walk through the defense and boxing skills of PBF? How can he walk through the side-to-side style Mitchell brings to the ring? Get my drift? Until we see Ricky fight a true top-ten contender/fighter then we should keep our opinions of him to a minimum. He is still a prospect, gentlemen, and will remain one until he beats a champion for a belt, not fight some bum for a vacant one when KZ and Mitchell both move up to 147 after their fight in November.

I like Ricky's relentless style but I think he's taylor made for someone like Mayweather who would make him look silly just like Spinks made Mayorga look like a bafoon. Yes, Ricky is not as unconventional as Mayorga, but his style would befall him just the same.

I said said Hatton will walk through Mayweather and Mitchell because they aint punchers, he will walk through there punches!! maybe i should have made that part more clear.

Mayweather is a great fighter but Hatton fights weighting 160lbs and floyd probably struggles to get to 140lbs. They size difference is a massive and i cant understand why people overlook that!! Hatton is a bull and floyd will have to be very slick to keep him off.
