I think ricky hatton is without doubt one of the most exciting fighters in boxing. he's relentless all action style is always going to be entertaining - but is he that good? living in britain you get to see a lot of him but i think missing out on the harris fight was a big loss. can hatton cut it against kt, sharmba, cotto, floyd? i dont think he beats any of those personally and while id like to see him do weel have reservations on his ability to take a shot and avoid cuts. any thoughts?

you're CRAZY for thinking that hatton can walk through mayweather. no one, ESPECIALLY hatton walks through mayweather.Originally posted by elveielCotto and Tszyu give Hatton a hard nights work but he walks through the rest.Comment

Mayweather needs a big ring against a big rampaging light welter like Hatton, if he puts some good muscle weight on and his hands are ok then i'll say 50/50 fight because of the styles.Originally posted by bayayou're CRAZY for thinking that hatton can walk through mayweather. no one, ESPECIALLY hatton walks through mayweather.Comment

Yeah, 50/50 is a little nice to floyd. maybe 25/75!!Originally posted by baya50/50
Mayweather is a super feather, he has hand problems, he's no KO puncher, he backs up easily and he doesnt throw combos anymore(hand problem again).
Mayweather defence is so good i'd give him a good chance of a points win. but if he backs up on the ropes like normal then Hatton will punch holes in him.Comment

Please....
Let's get Ricky fighting someone with a pulse before we start saying he could compete with Floyd. Hatton ducked a WBO title shot vs Corley for chrissakes.Comment
