EXCUSE ME?? Surely you must be joking. I like Cotto, but Judah's probably infertile after all the low blows he sustained from Cotto.

      right... go ask Judah.

      That was a ****-chugger statement.

Cotto is not Holy, Hop or Casa but he is not exactly a clean fighter either

        Puerto Rican?

I love Tito, Ivan, and even some lesser known guys from that last few years.. What are you talking about PR for, you ****ing ******?

Cotto is as clean as they come???

        BULL****, mother****er. BULL****.

HE IS AS DIRTY AS THEY COME. None of the guys you mentioned throw DELIBERATE HARD FOULS to change the course of a fight in their favor.

Cotto punches on the HIP, BACK, and TESTICLES with such regularity, there cannot be ANY doubt it is the secrect to his success.

COTTO CAN'T WIN A CLEAN FIGHT.

You want to talk about moms?

        Cool, **** YOURS.

I'm not going to discuss Cotto's intentions. We've been there. You don't think BHop does that though? **** Hopkins does it, and smiles at you. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Respect to all those who have defended their view.

But this is a seminal issue. THE ISSUE.

In my opinion I say you don't know **** about this sport if you think Cotto's aggression won't backfire. But that's just my opinion.

So far we have ZERO tactical reasons Cotto's aggression will serve him well in this fight.

I don't expect to get any.. There are none.

Rough housing and frustrating your opponent is one thing.

Deliberately trying to fatigue and weaken an opponent by punching him on the hip, back, and testicles is something else ENTIRELY.

In the Malignaggi fight George Foreman commented that he respected Paulie for not complaining about the MULTIPLE low blows Cotto was landing.

Urkal's people were infuriated with Cotto for the back punches.

Quintana had a bruise the size of a football on his back from Cotto's knockdown shot.

Miguel hit Torres, Corley, and Judah with extremely hard low blows after he got in trouble. (you know!)

The HBO team referred to Cotto's back punching during the Judah fight when Cotto landed another BLATANT back shot to Zab..

Cotto weakens his guys on the hip and back predominately no matter who he's fighting. That is Miguel Cotto's secret. He's not a body puncher, he's a fouling machine. A DIRTY fighter.

My take on all the whole Mosley/Cotto thing- Cotto is a great bodypuncher. I'm rooting for him even though I'm really worried Shane's gonna' end up winning. However, I take it he's been hurt other times and takes damage due to his pressure style. It happened in the Torres fight and the Corley fight, Zab did it, too in the first round but didn't hurt Cotto NOWHERE near in comparison to Corley, or even Torres which knocked Cotto down AND at one point had him against the ropes where one good lunging left hook would've been all it took to be the start of a flurry and a TKO loss for him.

Yes, Cotto's been known for low-blows. I look at this at a non-biased fashion. I've seen the part where Cotto strikes Judah low several times. The first blow looks unintentional, however since Cotto was a bit hurt it's very easy to point to the fact that he did it to give himself some time to recompose. However, the second low-blow dealt in round 3 looked very intentional. People can say that this tends to happen a lot when people attack the body a lot, but the second one seemed so blatantly obvious it's cringe-worthy to watch it when they replay in slow-mo.

Nobody except Cotto knows if he did it on purpose, but that's my take on that.

Interesting fact that Addison mentioned on the Malignaggi bit (Foreman mentioning the multiple low blows), I'll try to look that up on youtube.

BTW, Addison: Might I inquire as to which part of the fight specifically did the HBO team comment on the back-punching (what round)? I still have the fight on my DirecTV hard-drive and would like to hear this myself.
