Will Cotto's Aggression Work Against Him?

Addison you can **** ride mosely all you want but he's gonna lose by KO in the 11th. You've built mosely up to be some supreme fighter but in reality he's just another paper champ that got exposed by Vernon Forest. After this hopefully we will never hear from Mosely or his annoying wife ever again. Who knows maybe he can get a job as the spokesman for Balco. I'm sure the Delahoya fight wasn't the only time he juiced for a fight.

I think so, Mosley isn't so much of a counter puncher as it is that he dosn't like getting hit without throwing something back. He is a very sharp puncher and I see him punching back against Cotto and landing often.

The reason Cotto's aggression can work well for him is the fact that Mosley has a ego in the ring and can get reckless. Usually when Mosley is hit with a big shot he wants to fire back immediately and thats when he gets reckless and loses what makes him a great fighter. That side of Mosley could help Cotto's aggression if he can hit Mosley with a big shots a few times a round or at least once a round to make Mosley get out of his character which would lead to more opportunities for Cotto while being aggressive. I think Cotto wins strictly because Mosley is old and battle torn. Mosley in his prime would beat the breaks off of Cotto easily and more than likely Arum doesn't even make this fight with Mosley in his prime.

It's not just a pressure thing. I dont expect Cotto to all out pressure Mosley. I expect him to be careful early, pick his shots, and try to establish his jab. Throw all of the body punching out of the window. It's his jab that will be the factor, and by the championship rounds, I see Cotto landing it a lot while getting inside, and letting go that combination he loves, and Mosley has been talking about. The left to the body, sneaky left uppercut to the head, right hand, and sweeping left hook to the head.

Mosley sees it on video, he thinks he can stop it, but after he gets hit with left body shots late, he wont see the uppercut coming. Late in the fight Mosley wont look hurt, but he will look exhausted. And Cotto will still be coming along. Yes, it's possible Cotto gets buzzed early, and I'll be expecting it. All I see Shane doing is throwing peppering jabs, flurrying, and trying to keep Cotto outside. At times he'll mix in a hard right hand to test that chin. When Cotto gets cought lunging, Shane will look for that left and right hook a lot. It's going to happen. Difference is, I think Cotto can take those punches, and some people dont.

It's a pick em fight. Nobody is high and mighty if they predict the outcome right. Anything is possible. Lets just all hope it turns out to be the great fight we are expecting.
