BUt the U.K. has less PPVs a year that they have to choose between. So, that's really an unfair assessment.

If you have LESS than a handful of people you're willing to pay for at home, you're bound to get better numbers if you're one of the three or four.

SO if there were more PPVs in the UK Mayweather would be a bigger draw than Hatton? I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

In the US Mayweather is the bigger PPV draw. In the US Hatton is the bigger live draw. Which really says something.

I don't think hattons running his mouth at all like some of you have said, the fact is its his biggest fight, England haven't got that many world class fighters and hes an approachable guy so hes going to have alot of interviews thats wht you hear alot from him, and squeal is right about the respective draws because no matter where hatton goes hes going to put bums on seats where mayweather brings the whole American market.

What proof do you have of Hatton being a bigger CROWD draw in America. Last I checked, most of Hattons shows in America were filled with mostly, NON-Americans. Furthermore, in Mayweathers last 3 fights, the attendances have been averaged at 22,000 a piece. The most, REPORTED to have flown over for Hatton is about 15,000 for Castillo and 10,000 or so for Collazo. Good numbers, a lot fo dedication, but that's not Mayweather numbers. You can credit Judah, Carlos Baldy, or De La Hoya, but besides De La Hoya, none of those guys makes it to PPV without Mayweather. I don't think Hatton bring Baldy to PPV, and would make it with the other two.

Even if Hatton has a solid 200,000 fans in the U.K., that's not impressive PPV numbers. (Solid fans meaning those who would be willing to travel, at different times, and order fights that they can.) So, essentially, anything over 200-275,000 fans, can be attributed to Mayweather and build up.

As to what I was saying... PPVs cost a pretty penny/pound/euro/peso/bead.. whatever. If you have less PPVs in the U.K. to order from, you're bound to have the BIG PPVs get even bigger numbers, due to less competition. Less choices, the higher the choices you have go up in the polls, so to speak. Whereas, with Mayweathers fights in America, he's had to deal with competition that Hatton has not had. It's an unfair assessment in that regard.

hat's not to say Mayweather would sell more in the U.K. But to compare the U.K. market to the AMerican, in terms of boxing PPVs, is unbalanced.

The UK PPV numbers was an addendum to my comments about the US figures. Floyd's last fight sold out. His previous two did not. Hatton's fights all sell out, and this one is no mistake. What do you think the ratio of Hatton to Floyd fans is going to be on Dec 8th? It's ging to be 80% hatton, 2% Floyd and 18% celebs who want to be seen at one of the biggest fights there is.

That's a bit unrealistic coming from you. I see it as 45/Mayweather. 40/Hatton. 15/Just to see the spectacle/celebrities.

Honestly, there are A LOT of fans in America for Floyd. You think his two percent is only roaming this site? Lol. C'mon.. He's got A LOT of fans. Furthermore, the Hatton fans are so anxious for this fight, because A LOT of them want Hatton to win. But, quite a few of them just want to see Mayweather lose. That's the thing, he gets people interested on both sides. You ever notice that when you ask people who Mayweather should fight, they don't say "Him, because it's exciting." They say "This guy, because I think he beats Mayweather." It's this stigma about him that gets people interested. I just like a good fight, but I see how it's alluring.

There may be a lot of fans but they're not going to his fights... They're buying the PPVs. They're certainly not travelling from Michigan and spanding $1500 on cheap seat tickets. You seriously think there will be more Mayweather fans at the fight than Hatton fans?

Have you ever surfed the net? Most opinions on Mayweather , either good or bad, want him to lose, but think he will win. That's the world, the net, not America, or the U.K. That's overall. Fans are people who will pay to see you fight. Regardless of their reasoning. I'm no FloydBoy, I'm simply saying that more people would watch mayweather fight.. say..... Smarba Mitchell on PPV, than if Hatton fought him. That's saying something. (By the way, I realize that was never a PPV fight, I'm just saying.

As for the question of if he gets more fans to show up... I'll say, he'll be the BIGGER reason that people show up. And that's truly all that matters. Hatton might have more support in the sense, because some people dont' care who Floyd fights, they just came to see him lose. Do his fans travel? I don't think all the people in attendance are from Nevada, I'll say that much. Anyone from the U.K. Answer this, if Floyd went over there, would it get coverage in most EVEN casual boxing circles?
