I am a Ricky Hatton fan but not dilusional.
He is the more exciting fighter
In England obviously he is the bigger draw but not in America
I think SonofIsis is correct. At first I thought Hatton had got to Mayweather but know I'm not so sure. Hatton's behaviour is not normal for him I think he is getting nervous and justifiably so. Who wouldn't in his situation.
I think the pressure is building on Hatton and how he copes and REACTS to this pressure will be very important indeed.

I know Hatton has a million excuses why it happened, but I just can't get over what Luis friggin' Collazo did to him. He won that fight, and Hatton got his gift like Mayweather did against Castillo. Difference being that Floyd has never looked anything less than outstanding at 147, which is where we are now. Whereas Hatton has looked ordinary at Welter, minus one fight against a shot, blown up Castillo. I see this fight ending up somewhat like the Collazo fight, but Ricky will train harder, so he will look better, but still end up losing because Floyd is Collazo only much better at EVERYTHING.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. by UD is the pick. Ricky's heart will keep him from being TKO'd, and he will give a good effort, but ultimately lose the fight in everyone's eyes, including his own.

Why people say he lost to Collazo I don't know u obviously aint watched the fight because he won by at least 2 points.
Hatton is right he is the bigger draw, no doubt about it how many of his fans wud come over to England to watch him your looking at a few hundred if that. This fight could be staged in a sports arena because Hatton has the fanbase if Mayweather was fighting another Welterweight opponent he wud not sell the MGM Grand out.

I did watch the fight, otherwise I wouldn't have known how bad Collazo made him look, silly. But your username has Hatton's name in it, so we won't be discussing this any further

Hatton fans save up enough points so you can change your names after December 8

Don't tar us all with the same brush.
              I am a Hatton fan
I won't need to change my name
              PBF will win easily IMO
The pressure has got to Hatton IMO

              I'm a boxing fan not a nuthugger.
Hatton has a chance but a small chance

If Mayweather faught Mosley or Cotto, he'd sell out. Hell, I think he could do that with Cintron or Williams. I'm not sure, but it'd be close. If Hatton faught Mosley or Cotto, he'd sell out, too. He wouldn't get to selling out with Cintron or Williams, though. And if he did, the fights would still be ordered more with Mayweather in the mix. Regardless of his fan base. The most he has PROVEN to be able to move overseas is roughly 15,000. Keep in mind, bigger draw means, you make the fight the most money. Hatton isn't proven to be that guy. He has NO sells as an American PPV draw. He has NEVER sold out a show on American soil. (Unless I remember incorrectly about the Castillo fight, which I don't think I have). He's never had exposure on normal American TV, yet he's been in the states on NUMEROUS occasions. Whereas, if Mayweather went over to the U.K., I'm pretty sure it gets picked up by a network or two. I could be wrong, I doubt it.

floyd is gonna win anyway so i aint too bothered about who is the more exciting fighter. I dont think floyd would of been what he is today without fighting his style. Yes ricky is the more exciting fighter, draws more crowds and is more liked but he still hasnt done what floyd has done so unless he beats floyd on december the 8th which he wont i will post a thread dedicated to ricky hatton lol.

I did have to laugh at one of the press conferences when floyd said something like "this fight sold out in 30 minutes baby" as if it was him who sold the fight, no floyd it was because your fighting one of the most loved and watched boxers in the world.

Hatton is the live draw, there's no question. Mayweather is the PPV draw, no question.

I should point out that Floyd is the US PPV draw. Hatton is a bigger PPV draw in the UK.
