Carlos Badlomir has only had ONE PPV, and Mayweather was atached to it. Gatti has only had ONE PPV, with Floyd. Judah has had, two, the better selling one, WAS Floyd, not Cotto (If I remember correctly). De La Hoya/Mayweather.. you gotta ATLEASt assume Mayweather brought in a good 30-40 percent of the audience, and paying audience. Hatton, hasn't proven anything outside of his country. That's great, (not being sarcastic, it's great to have a solid fan base) but it doesn't prove you're marketable, overall. He probably has a good 100,000 fans at home, but those aren't successful PPV numbers. (For the record, neither is 200,000 for that matter.)

Hatton's only fanbase is the one that comes with him, his popularity here among american fans is minimal at best, and his style as well as his HBO presence are less than impressive to american fans. I have to think that HBO thought they were going to breath life into a foreign sensation and ended up with a guy who while having a good showing in his last fight, has been less than impressive in his other outings to garner an american fanbase. Couple that up with fighting the best AMERICAN fighter in the world right now, in america, he is only as much a draw as his original fanbase makes him.

i can't shake the fact that i was never impressed by hattons fight they used to show on showtime, and nothing has change in his latest fight on hbo. Hatton had one stellar performance imo and i just question how great/good he could look against mayweather. Even though i have the fight as close due to mayweathers lack of officalness in his claims/thinking

Yes. Or, just because I states FACTS, you're gonna call me a nut hugger. Would you like the official numbers? Or, if I point them out, am I being biased? Dude, I seriously like Hatton, this statement of him being the bigger draw, is just not statistically sound. He has sold WAY less PPVs in America (none), has yet to sell out an arena in America, and here's another thing.. Let's say he came over here, to be interviewed on major TV and on some shows, for promo. He'd most LIKELY, be turned down. Mayweather goes over to Britian, and I personally think he gets on any show that covers boxing. Hatton has a GREAT, WONDERFUL following. I really mean that. But he could sell 100,000-200,000 PPVs with a Carlos Baldomir. In terms of drawing power, as of yet.. it's no REAL contest. If he impresses, and atleast keeps it competitive against Mayweather, that changes a lot fo things. We'll see.

And once again, favorite fighter at the moment, is either Bernard Hopkins, Juan Diaz, Manny Pacquaio, Miguel Cotto or Joe Calzaghe.

Hatton has been running his trap a lot lately. Definite sign of being nervous.

If that were true, Mayweather would be boxings Howard Hughes.

Sometimes, you just gotta sell a fight. Confidence helps.

But that' Mayweather.. Besides, Hatton has been on Floyd's line lately while Floyd has been seemingly not worried about taking anymore shots in the media. He got it over with at the press tour and I guess the hitman's feelings are still hurt.
