I just don't confuse a persons skills with his personality. I like Pacquiao because of his aggression, style of exciting fight, the fact that SO FAR, he's taken on some tough fights, and deserved the win, technically against Juan Manuel Marquez. The other two fighters weren't shot.. I said, the last time he fought either, they were. In the third fight, Morales, was BARELY a shell of his former self. He didn't come close to the fighte he was a few years ago. Keep in mind, Morales DID beat him the first time. That says a lot.

Barrera, in the first fight, I wont say, he was shot, I will say that he wasn't the fighter I was used to at that point.

I don't say ANYTHING inconsistent, I just don't think, because I like afighter, that everything he does is perfect and great. Mayweather has good buyrates, good attendance sells, and has had a lot of coverage. He's alsoa very skilled fighter.

Bad news.. He's a bad mouth, annoying at press conferences, isn't the bost EXCITING fighter right now, but is generally regarded as the best, p4p, which ISN'T really a good thing, in a certain way, for boxing.. and he has brittle hands, lost power at 147, because he moved up so quickly and effectively, he left unannswered questions at 130, 135, and 140. However, he chased the money. Those are all bad things about him. I'm not blinded by my appreciation of any fighter. They all have flaws.
Pac didn't beat a prime Barrera the first time out? Yeah, you do really like Pac.

You do realize that "I'd hit it" means, you'd have sex with (whatever person).. That's..... you know.. not exactly straight.

Regardless, I happen to think Barrera was having a bad night, in the first fight. I don't know if he was prime or not, I will say that Pacquaio won, fare and square, and that's no excuse. Everyone has bad nights. Pacman was hurt against Barrios, I think, and he still won. That wouldn't really be a good night for him though. EVERYONE HAS FLAWS. All you do is knitpick the positive things I say about Mayweather. You never mention that I think his personality sucks, or that a solid jabber could beat him, or that if he was able to prove a bit more, Ivan Calderon is a better skilled fighter p4p, in my opinion. Or that I think he SLIGHTLY lost the first Castillo fight. Or that I DO give Hatton a chance. You're being biased if you're ONLY picking out one part of my arguments.

Correct me if I'm wrong but did you just say that Pac never won against a focused and prime MAB or a focused and prime Morales?

I don't know about anywhere else in the world. I mean, to the Pinoys, they have Pacquaio.. IN the U.K.. they might say Calzaghe, or Hatton.. But, truthfully.. I think most fans would perhaps dislike him, but admit that Mayweather has earned the spot. He still has TONS to prove, but personally, as of this moment, he's proven more, in my personal opinion, than the others I've mentioned have, so far. Manny is a pretty close second though, I will say that.

well after beating de lahoya and probably hatton its very hard to argue with the fact that he is the best
but the fact is hes a champ made out of publicity long before he beated de la hoya or baldomir people were calling him the best and at that point i think pacquiao was better

Yeah.. well alot rides on the Hatton fight. If he looks impressive against Hatton, it further cements his spot. But, who knows.. he COULD lose.

Hatton is still thinking like a small-time fighter.

He is thinking about "butts in the seats" instead of "people hitting the BUY NOW button". It doesn't matter if you have 20K, 40K, or 60K people in the stnds. What you want is 600K at home buying the fight.

The reality is that PBF had more people in the arena for Judah than Hatton had for any US fight, AND Floyd also sold almost 400K PPV's for that fight.

                    Gatti's biggest payday? Floyd
                    Judah's biggest payday? Floyd
                    Baldo's biggest payday? Floyd
                    Oscar's biggest payday? Floyd
                    Ricky's biggest payday? Floyd

                    Is this a coincidence?

Obviously....most of Hatton's fan base is in the UK, the amount that travel is exceptional.

Of course anyone with Mayweathers ability will be a draw but how many watch to see hopefully see him lose do you think?
