Aaron Pryon was up there, and so was De La Hoya, but I have to go with Chavez.

      The Voting so far

      A little surprising so far.
I should have Pernell Whitaker in there but just forgot him, but his greatest achievments were not at 140lb.

I expected the voting to be between J.C.Chavez and Aaron Pryor who I would have as the 2 greatest 140lb fighters. I think if anyone could have beaten Pryor it was Chavez. So far Chavez way out in front. I also expected more votes for PBF as his fans think he is G.O.A.T and didn't expect to see so many votes for Hatton. Hatton is the best at the moment but it's too early to call him the greatest but if he pulls off an upset against PBF at 147lb then remains unbeaten for the next couple of years and defeating the likes of Cotto and Mosely then it would be difficult to argue against him laying claim to the title.

Aaron Pryor. He was just a monster at JWW beating two hall of fame fighters in Alexis Arguello and Antonio Cervantes. I mean he made Antonio Cervantes look like a joke, is just an example of how good he was. JCC had a good record at JWW Weight, P4P though I never thought of him as the most skilled fighter. Always eating punches before landing one, which is why I rank him second behind Aaron Pryor.

I was caught between two of my favorite fighters ever in Aaron Pryor and Chavez. I thought I was gonna go with the fighter that would have less votes, but Chavez' votes surprised me. EIther way, I still couldn't call it. I liked both for different reasons.

JCC would not beat Aaron Pryor. Imagine being hit with Meldrick Taylor's speed with a hell of alot more power. You could hit Pryor with as many powerful punches as you want if he got KD he would get back up and finish the job. A prime Pryor beats ANY jww you put up against him. Although JCC gives him the best shot at defeat because he hits like a mule.

It's just too hard to call. Pryor had people take it to his body (pause).. But not like a prime 140 Chavez could. Plus his chin was literally made out of the outer material that they use on space ships. Had great stamina, too. I try to picture fights happening, and all I see with this one is me smiling at how great the fight is. I just can't decide.

Best in terms of their careers? Or best as far as who could whip more of the rest? Chavez for the first question, Pryor for the second.

Chavez is leading? Jesus. He was beaten soundly but got gift decisions.

Aaron Pryor all the way, followed by Sweet Pea and then Kostya and then Mayweather and CHAVEZ.

And fwiw, Benitez would have done the same thing to Chavez what Pernell had done.
