    Mayweather fans....

Look at the records of the following Floyd oppenents. Find me the best win they have on their record:

    Genaro Hernandez
    Carlos Rios
    Justin Juuko
    Carlos Gerena
    Gregoria Vargas
    Emanuel Augustus
    Carlos Hernandez
    Victoriano Sosa
    Phillip N'Dou
    Henry Brusseles

That's about half of Floyd's opp in the last decade. They all (except for Augustus) have sparkling records. But who did they ever beat? Riddle me that, and tell me why I am supposed to be more impressed with their padded records than I am with Duran's many losses (but quality wins).

    Thanks guys.

You know, you can do this with about anyone? Take out the meaningful significant fighters/fights and just pick half of his opponents. Not too difficult to see what you're doing here.

It would be a fair argument, too. Because answering this is in effect, making you seem foolish. Those opponents weren't that impressive. Big deal. He DID have bigger fights with bigger names. To leave those out, is a bit ridiculous.

Famoso and Goyo Vargas were very good fighters. Chicanito DOMINATED a division. The other guys were gatekeepers or worse.

But every modern great has his resume built on 4 or 5 wins.

SRL : Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Hagler (disputed)....who else?

Who is the BEST active fighter in your opinion? Count his great wins.

PBF's top-end of Delahoya, Castillo, Castillo (disputed), Judah is not SRL-ish. But it's pretty damn good.

Alot of the credit Floyd gets for that win was because he was thirteen years old at the time.

Seriously, everyone thought it was way too early.
