In other words, this fight followed pretty much the Mayweather template. Which is exactly what Hatton knew Floyd was going to do, and what Floyd publicly said he was going to do.

Moz, that is what is most troubling for me about Hatton. He knew EXACTLY what Floyd wanted to do , and wasn't able to stop it. Or even slow it.

Hatton was putty in Mayweather's hands from about the sixth round onwards which wasn't entirely surprising but still a little bit disappointing.

Floyd Mayweather: "I am going to box him for a few rounds, than take him into deep waters and drown him"

That was about right when the fight was signed as well.

Pretty much what I thought as well. And it's not because of chance. Mayweather trains like a savage, has a incredible wealth of boxing knowledge behind him.
          Oh yeah, Mayweather is SMART.
For all the 24/7's, and Dancing with the Stars B.S. aside, Mayweather can FIGHT.
You don't like it, take a number.
It's not by luck that Mayweather is still sporting a 0 in the loss column.
The man takes his craft seriously, and keeps on wearing out bigger fighters after the 5th round.
Cotto will be the next example.

So Mayweather gets some respect by you by fighting Cotto?
The fight IS going to happen. No make believe ****. It could be at MSG, during the height of the Puerto Rican day parade.
Mayweather is going to beat Cotto. And it's going to be funny how many threads I see about why it happened.

I'm sure Cotto would get even more respect (than Floyd would get) for beating Paul Williams.

That is the problem for Hatton. He was acting like Floyd was some little ho who slapboxed. It was telling in Ricky's post-fight comment: "Floyd wasn't scared to come inside and give it back to me". Mutha****a, why would somebody be scared of you? Who gassed you up?

Did he think Floyd was Cory Spinks?

This FMJ dude grew up in gyms and was fighting bigger men his whole life. Why did Ricky so badly underestimate PBF's strength and pop?? I partly blame Ricky for that, partly blame DLH for misguiding Ricky, and MOSTLY blame Graham/Kayes for gassing RH's head up.

LMAO @ Delahoya doing the world's worst imitation of Floyd.

                      Listen to Graham:

                      You understand Dios?
Mayweather was a gym rat since he was a youngin. He was born to be a fighter.
                      Uncle, Father, were fighters.
And people still hate on Mayweather, because he "RUNS"...
Mayweather never got a chance to "RUN" his whole life. He was destined to be a fighter.
It turned out, he became a GREAT fighter. You don't like it, do something about it. Shut his mouth up.
But until then, shut YOUR mouth up. You can't do it. And the fighter you have on your jockeys can't do it.
So keep on running your meat lips. It don't matter to me one way or the other if Cotto can slap box Jesus.
Mayweather, Cotto, they ain't my folks. I just pick the fights how I see them.
