If you had watched as many Hatton fights as you claim then you would know that what you have just said is unadulterated bollocks.

hatton charged, his shots were wide, he was unable to cut the ring off true? theres no shame in losing to floyd mayweather but what im saying is that what has worked for him against usually lesser opponents just didnt stand up last weekend, in fact didnt come close. just so im clear, do you not think rh holds/mauls/wrestles/pushes on the inside exessivly?

I said that the best man won last week. The referee's performance did not change the course of the fight but it was still a rotten performance.

ricky has looked good against lesser/washed up opposition but the better the opponent the more ricky seems to revert to these tactics as a means to win. you cant argue with the fact that floyd made him look very crude and pedestrian

Mayweather was on a different planet in rounds 8, 9 and 10 but up until the sixth round I thought Hatton was in the fight.

I agree with you Mozza, Hatton was in the fight after the 5th round.
But it's becoming pretty clear that after the 5th, Mayweather just seems to have his opponents number, and starts to break them down.
Judah, DLH, and now Hatton.
Mayweather just gets stronger when the rounds start to add up.
For all the Mayweather bashing, he does work his ass off during training. His sparring sessions alone would have put many fighters to shame.
