kostya fought just 6 months before he fought hatton and was the man to beat at 140. Witter and cotto were both nobodies at that time, and mayweather was busy fighting a human punching bag.

Cotto was WBO LWW champ, Witter had been calling Hatton out for a while, and Hatton explicitly declined a fight with Mayweather, citing that he wasn't ready. Yet he sure was ready to fight an inactive, 35 year old man who got beaten by somebody he'd already beaten himself, in Phillips.

Please.. You are well known for overstating anything that supports your bias. You have no credibility.

If Hatton had fought Witter instead, you would be typing right now about how he dodged Zoo.

Fighting Tszyu was a good move, but the scrubs that he fought before and after was not.. Maussa over Cotto or Mayweather? Why? Both were willing to fight you, Floyd more surely..

                    Right and he beat Collazo.

The correct score was 115-112 in favor of Hatton. Close fight, but the difference maker was the knockdown in the first round.
