I just said that Oscars punching power was better at 147 and 154 then 160, so im not really sure what your trying to get at here.

Exactly, Oscar was slower at 160 as well.

So why all the build up of Floyd's win over an over the hill Oscar?

Because it was at 154, where Oscar has shown to have skill, speed and power.
Also, Floyd was fighting Oscar at 24 pounds above his original weight and was outweighed by 15 pounds on fight night by a guy who just knocked Ricardo Mayorga(granite chin) the **** out.

Also, If Oscar was to face Hatton now, Oscar would be the prohibitive favorite. (just for some perspective)

              the point is simple e.

How then has floyds power, stamina, chin, reflexes improved with the weight gains.

If they haven't improved since chavez, if they have declined which is far more likely and i think evident in his recent preformances, how then will he fare better agains Hatton than he did against Castillo or Chavez?

He beat them both in his prime. Barely beat castillo and had a rough night with Chavez till he quit.

How can u think that 130lb Mayweather is the same as the 147lb version?

Once you answer those question, one cannot find a logical reason as to why Floyd should have an easy time with Hatton, or even be able to compete!

Unless ofcourse, you believe floyd is the exact same fighter he was at 130?

                Styles make fights e.

Mayorga stood and fought with DLH.

Mayweather used every inch of that oversized ring and then some. It is not an accomplishment to say" i didn't get knocked out" thats called surviving.

No, I dont think Floyd has the speed he had at 130, but I do think he has more one punch power (wobbled Oscar twice, no small feat) and can still throw 1 or 2 punches just as fast as he could in his prime.
Castillo was a great fighter, and was in his prime fighting Floyd, Hatton demolished a washed up version of Castillo, and everyono knows it.

Theres a reason Floyd is the favorite in this fight, he has great speed, footwork, defense and chin.

I think I need to ask you how you think Hatton can hang with Floyd when he had serious problems with Collazo, who has very little power (27 fights, 13 ko) and outboxed and even hurt Hatton.
Floyd has better technique, defense, speed and a longer reach than Collazo.

You know, I'm willing to agree that Oscar was Floyd's most impressive win. Not because the fight was impressive, it was fairly mediocre actually, but because he beat the name De La Hoya. But, Oscar wasn't the Oscar of old, IMO. And, Oscar was very close to winning that fight anyway.

                      a) Oscar looked very good that night.
                      b) that fight was not close.
