Hatton is a beast I agree. I've been trying to tell people that for about a month now. They don't realze how dangerous he is. He is gonna hurt pbf so bad I honestly believe this. I don't say this cause I wanna see him do this I say this being honest. He is honestly going to hurt pbf.I think he will knock pbf out around 7th or 8th round cause pbf will only be able to shake him for so long. Then I think pbf will either retire after losing a fight this late in his career being knocked out none the less that late in his career. He will either retire or turn into roy jones jr.Not that I dont like rjj I just think he needs to hang it up his career is over now. Think about it how much have you honestly heard about rjj and tito????? nothing at all.

I would have to agree with this. Oscar was ever so close to winning that fight. Why he stopped with the jab is another great boxing mystery.

I realize they have different styles.

Oscar isn't a horrible pressure fighter, at all. In fact the times he pressured Floyd while moving forward behind the jab.........he stopped him in his tracks and put him up against the ropes. When Oscar does in fact decide to trade punches, he can do so with the best of them. Everyone knows that.

And he has the clear size and I'm assuming natural strength advantage over both guys. I don't know how much stronger Hatton would be coming forward than Oscar.

I'd have to disagree with that. I've seen the fight three times, and not one single time could I give more than 4 rounds to Oscar without feeling ****** and biased. Because nobody could deny the frequency and accuracy of Floyd's left and looping right hand.

He was beat soundly. And in praise of non fiction here..............the only people who went as far as to score the fight for Oscar were:

            1. People who hate Mayweather, and would let that influence their scoring.

            2. People who are all up on Oscar's nuts and would give him rounds.

            3. People who don't approve of Floyd's style in the ring, and don't score for someone who wins fights by effective punching and ring generalship...........moreso entertainment, toughness, and aggression.

Either that or people don't know how to score fights. I'm not putting you on the spot......because it's clear that you implied that Floyd won but it was close. I'm just taking it a step further in giving you the rundown on my thinking. There's no way on Earth that fight could have ever been scored for Oscar because if it was............it would have been one of the biggest robberies in the history of major fights.

              Yeah we'll see soon.

Hopefully Hatton surprises me yet again. Just like he did against Castillo. If someone would have told me he was going to knock Castillo out with 1 body punch I would have said they were a ****ing clueless moron because JLC had never been on the canvas before as a professional fighter, and could take punishment from what looked like a mack truck hypothetically.

You are entitled to your opinion of course, But i disagree completely.

Oscar has never been a great infighter. He has never been an even good body puncher. If you watched the fight three times and still feel he was effective with that flurry slapping ****- then i won't argue further, but i have eyes too.

What i saw was a guy winning the fight and the blowing it by not siting back and making Mayweather come to him. Especially after Hopkins taught DLH the value of giving the smaller man confidence.

I scored the fight for mayweather by a point myself. I felt that oscar completely controlled floyd until he gassed and abandoned the jab.

If you believe that Oscar is better than Hatton at that point in his career you are wrong.

Thats like saying Jones is better than Hopkins-Yeah, maybe prime, but that is not the Jones Hopkins would fight is it?

DLH was a shade of his former self-you act like Mayweather beat a prime DLH-not likely!
