Nobody downgraded anything, which has relative meaning anyways in he face of honesty. I'm still waiting on a rebuttal to my assertion. By contribution, of course I mean participation in the sport (boxing)..
It is not unfair because I am taken out of context. I am not referring to promoters and cornermen, but as a boxing fan, am referring to the cream of the crop, you know, the boxers.
Again, Winky Wright, just like Ali's skill was his own and you should never give undue weight to anyone else, regardless. Guidance again is a given, but it is a stretch to say that this is the same as getting in the ring and helping Winky win, and certainly not the same as fighting yourself, which is what I'm talking about, so this is obviously a red herring, be it most likely unintentional..
When peyton manning won the superbowl, would you say "tony dungy had nothing to do with peyton mannings success and should be discredited toward his win" no you wouldnt say that ****, its a team effort. Somebody has to guide you, without the diversity of this sport we wouldnt have a sport, and im not going to sit here and attribute one race or nationality for the rise of the sport, to say whites contributions to the sport are minimal is unfair,
winky wright wouldnt be where he is today without his trainer and mentor, i dont care if he didint get in the ring with him, it doesnt matter.
