There is racism everywhere.
I know that.
But I just like to point out that NOT EVERYONE is racist especially in British sport.Comment

they might complain or generally show disapointment at hearing monkey chants because it's a mindless juvanile act. which doesnt ever happen in england i might add, it's in spain, italy and the baltics who never have black players in their national teams.
but what that dont do is bring up race issues before anything has happened or play the race card to drum up support..... i.e donavan mcnabb
Lennox Lewis and Nigel Benn were just as much loved as calzaghe or hatton because over here we see passed the color of a man's skin
america has serious racial problems, it's always the first thing they comment on. like tiger woods for example, the most common question he got asked was is he half black half asian or half white. does it matter?
lewis hamilton is a british black driver who can win the F1 title this weekend but without seeing a picture of him you wouldnt know he was black from reading the stories of his races in the papers.
if you dont know anything about british sport and culture then dont bother making comments, people in britain couldnt care less about creed or color, to suggest they are as narrow minded as america shows you know very little and probably dont care. cos what goes on outside the states is not worth knowingComment

Its because the ******* social engineers love to celebrate diversity and therefore put race at the forefront of every issue, unlike the more conservative approach of being a colorblind society.Comment

Racism has not been an issue in British sport for decades. Some of the most popular players in the sport have been black, including Thierry Henry (who was widely admired despite also being French!), John Barnes, Ian Wright etc. The monkey chants, while an embarrassment when it lasted, are well out of date and went hand in hand with the rise of the National Front and the peak of football hooliganism.
Nowadays there are frequent reports of black players being stunned when they play in Europe (particularly Italy, Spain and Eastern Europe) at the racist abuse they face, because it simply doesn't happen in England.Comment
