No, I dont think the hate is irrational. If Floyd had fought Casa, Tszyu and Hatton before he wouldve been undisputed p4p king.

For me alot of people over rate him by saying he's THE BEST EVER! And **** like that but i do think he's 1of the best fighters ive ever seen and im glad i got the chance to see him but he aint unbeatable, id back Cotto over him for starters and theres other fighters out there that have a good shot

Remember his last fights are against much bigger men and Floyd could easily make 140 yet he is fighting DLH at 154. The haters will hate but name one other fighter that has done that. PEace
An unfocused Corrales nor a shot Genaro does not a great resume make.

How can the greatest defensive fighter of all time be over rated? if you ask ali, or sugar ray they will tell you Floyd has the best defence ever. He may not be as good as them in attack but with such a good defence you don't need to be. So start respecting him.
Greatest defensive fighter of all time? WTF?

                so stop hating on mayweather.

PS : at junoior welter everyone wanted him to fight Hatton, now he fights him at welterweight, and now everybody is like, yeah he fears williams, cinton or margarito...

I was not faulting Floyd for it, I was faulting those who thought the Corrales win made for a great resume.

Geno had one lose at the time and its was Floyds 17th fight you make no sense.

Genaro was on the downside of his career. And so what if it was Floyd's 17th fight?
