nah man, im 99% sure theres zero video of SRR at welter.

Although in LaMottas autobiography he keeps complaining that he was robbed in the 3rd Robinson fight, which i believe was at welterweight, and said that he had the tapes to prove it???

w/e, im pretty sure there isnt anything

Ricky will lead with his jab while anticipating Mayweathers counter right hand as he ducks to his left underneath and comes up answering with hard repeated left hooks to the body in the clinch and against the ropes.

Mayweather will step back and fire short right hands catching Hatton, but the punches won't have enough extension to keep Ricky away. Hatton will continue to charge in while occasionally feinting and clinching Mayweather at both ends. Hatton will be caught with regularity as Mayweather focuses on openings, but Ricky will limit Floyd's shots to singles as he continously mixes up his attack. For every one eye catching shot Floyd lands, Hatton will spend 20 seconds pounding all over Mayweather pushing and grabbing frantically.

Floyd will eventually start taking two steps back launching forward with hard left hooks and rights hands. Hatton will back off occasionally, and Mayweather will control the the center of the ring with hard combinations, and foot movement . The pace will be measured but will increase dramatically as Hatton presses forward again trying to maul and disarm Mayweather's counterpunching and defense. Sometimes Ricky will lead with his head grabbing Mayweather, other times Ricky will lead with short punches as he falls in and scores to the body in the clinch.

Floyd will back up trying desperately to keep Hatton at range and catch him coming in. Occasionally, he will find Hatton with good punches - but Ricky will stay up. As they clinch and flurry out Hatton will catch Mayweather with heavy shot to the cup. A point will be deducted. Larry Merchant will say something offensive about Floyd, and guys with diamonds in their teeth at ringside. Ect. ect.

Hatton wins a unanimous decision by close scores.
Tonight I decided to rewatch Hatton Castillo and Hatton Collazo. It is pretty apparent to me that if Ricky cant go at least 9 or 10 hard hard rounds he will get thumped and maybe stopped late. Hatton lives and dies on activity. Once Collazo started timing him and figured out the angles and attack Hatton came in with he was lighting him up. Of course that wasnt helped by Hatton blowing his wad early or by Collazo's being a southpaw. Point is Mayweather is no Collazo, he has faster feet, faster hands, better timing and punches maybe a little harder plus Collazo got tired as he did against Mosley and if there is one sure thing about FMJ he has amazing stamina. Im going to pick Mayweather by late KO in this but Im gonna root for Hatton to bust his ribs all night long.

99% is not 100%. i have it in my dvd player right now.

it's his fight with tony riccio in new jersey in 1946. i boxrec'd it and it says he weighed a tad over 147 and riccio was 155, but this was before robinson even beat bell for the w.w. title.

the quality sucks though and it's silent. there's a huge light in the center of the camera that hurts your viewing.

              i ordered it from here.

Did you give Hatton vs. Tszyu a go?

That's another good one for hints and clues.

Neat sombody named me, lol. Id like to think I know a little bit about boxing, there is always more to learn, but I could give you a detailed analysis of the fighting style of quite a few fighters.

There are a few fights of Ray Robinson at WW, not many, and nothing spectacular. There are 2 fights of Ray Robinson as an Amateur too.
