viva mexico aka true warrior is the only one that actually annoys me and makes this site worse, the other guys are jus here to discuss opinions and ****, so they dont bother me, everyones got their views, so its all good. but that ****in dude viva man if i ever saw his ass on the street......
Hatton will come out agressive as promised. Mayweather will surprise, and engage with Hatton immediately. Ricky will lead with his jab while anticipating Mayweathers counter right hand as he ducks to his left underneath and comes up answering with hard repeated left hooks to the body in the clinch and against the ropes.
Mayweather will step back and fire short right hands catching Hatton, but the punches won't have enough extension to keep Ricky away. Hatton will continue to charge in while occasionally feinting and clinching Mayweather at both ends. Hatton will be caught with regularity as Mayweather focuses on openings, but Ricky will limit Floyd's shots to singles as he continously mixes up his attack. For every one eye catching shot Floyd lands, Hatton will spend 20 seconds pounding all over Mayweather pushing and grabbing frantically.
Floyd will eventually start taking two steps back launching forward with hard left hooks and rights hands. Hatton will back off occasionally, and Mayweather will control the the center of the ring with hard combinations, and foot movement . The pace will be measured but will increase dramatically as Hatton presses forward again trying to maul and disarm Mayweather's counterpunching and defense. Sometimes Ricky will lead with his head grabbing Mayweather, other times Ricky will lead with short punches as he falls in and scores to the body in the clinch.
Floyd will back up trying desperately to keep Hatton at range and catch him coming in. Occasionally, he will find Hatton with good punches - but Ricky will stay up. As they clinch and flurry out Hatton will catch Mayweather with heavy shot to the cup. A point will be deducted. Larry Merchant will say something offensive about Floyd, and guys with diamonds in their teeth at ringside. Ect. ect.
Hatton wins a unanimous decision by close scores.
Great post Addison and i agree! Its another tough fight to call and we could end up lookin real ****** but im with u on this 1 down to the last detail!
I think we'll see Floyd leaping in with left hooks and hard rights, and then try to smother any shots Ricky tries to counter with.
Unlike you, I think Ricky will go down, probably from a left hook or possibly a right to the body-left hook upstair combination.
I'd like to say that I think Hatton would wear out from the pace and effort he's going to put up in the first few rounds, but this fight is too important for him to show up with anything other than perfect physique.
Later in the fight, when the pace settles down just a tad, maybe after Hatton goes down, I think Floyd will start to box from the back foot and landing those hard left jabs I know he can throw.
I don't think he will lead too much with the right hand as he usually does, because those left hooks to the body from Hatton won't allow that.
But whatever way the fight swings, I highly doubt Floyd will run from Hatton.
We shouldn't underestimate Hatton, but don't underestimate Mayweather either...
I agree, my man. Good ****. I could see Hatton going down, easily.
Mayweather will be aggressive. More so than usual.
I dont really sum them up with naming a couple of people. The people in general that I think are full of it are the guys that watch one fight and automatically decide he is the best boxer ever and cannot lose. And the guys that start getting really mad and act like a kid when you say their fighter might lose.
I have my fighters I like of course, but I never rule out the possibility of them getting a loss, especially in a big fight. For instance, I was going for Taylor because I like the guy. I was one of the minority that thought he would win from what I seen, but I left it out there that I thought there was a chance Pavlik could pull it off, and he did. But I didnt come in saying, "Taylor is going to win, blah blah blah, all you Pavlik nuthuggers are gay, pavlik is a bum and has no chance!" like some people defend their fighters.
I also try to let it be known when I give my opinions that I'm no expert, I feel I have decent knowledge on the science of boxing though and when I say something its usually got some validicity. I've watched boxing for the majority of my 25 year old life, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not an expert, if I were I'd go train the next undisputed champion.
