Instead of thinking of people who don't, I'll drop one who does:

    Oldgringo

    The guy knows his ****.

He knows how two bodies are going to collide.

That's what this **** is really about IMO.

Everyone seems to have their favorites, and I won't absolve him of that tendency either (haha)..

Well, i just started to watch boxing this year and i know i still have lots to learn. I always watch the big fights on saturday and download some old fights so i can learn more and more, so everytime i make an opinion about a fight is because i really think i know what im talking about, i try not to say things just because i like a fighter and not the other.
so i apology if ive ever have talked about something really out of place =P....

There is an abundance of triangle theory here. It just goes on and on, but you cannot put too much reliance on it by itself. In the end, it is the styles that primarly make fights at the championship level, IMO.

edit: I won't single certain posters out as not knowing what they are talking about....their spewings are proof enough.

The criteria that I use for the early weed-out is a guy who won't go out on a limb and make an actual prediction. They will say something like " I see this being a tough fight for Pacquiao".

I'm comfortable making a detailed fight prediction because i try to play out in my "mind's eye" how the fight will look.

Somebody (you?) used the phrase 'human chess' and while boxing is a chess match, wrestling is a 3-D chess match. The margins of error in boxing are more forgiving than in wrestling, and positioning is less important.

Soem people watched Winky-Tito and they were bored by it. I watch it and see Winky controllling the distance so carefully. If you watch Mayweather-Judah, you will see Floyd's left foot encroaching on zab's, and ZJ resets constantly, thus not throwing. That is the **** i love.

I know that many more people love the winging bodyshots and brawling, but I like to watch the game within the game. Thus, i don't find Winky?floyd?etc boring at all. Not at all.

Addy, I whipped mine out. How do YOU see Dec 8th going?

I've been impressed with Shawn, Azteca, and Easton (when he gets down and analyzes it), and yourself, Addison.

Not unimpressed with Dios, but he simply cannot pull himself out of the trap of eventually winding his analysis into propaganda.
