Taylor is stronger then Pavlik. He just wasn't smarter that night. And he's not use to fighting strong ass guys like Pavlik. Pavliks strong but I think Taylor might be stronger and faster... I just think Pavlik is quite smart. And Pavlik did bring out the best Taylor I've ever seen ever. I don't think he ever showed that much power and speed ever.

i got a question tho...since the rematch clause is for the catch weight of 166 but JT elects to stay with the weight limit of 160 does that mean pavlik doesnt have to fight him right away on contract terms?
In any case the titles cannot factor into the rematch. Pavlik will remain MW champ until he loses to someone other than Taylor.

don't quote me, but Taylor wasn't interest in staying MW champ anyway so that wasn't the point of the rematch clause

Will Taylor try to rematch Pavlik at 160?

Those people from his home town should hang there heads down low there a ***in disgrace. They should have suported him
of course it wouldnt happen in the UK, because you guys have far less champions and cherish them more than we do, out here, were pretty ungrateful.

I foresee Taylor taking a tuneup and Duddy-Pavlik going forward.. it seems Pavlik will KO Duddy, and this'll be just a $ fight (though, its a huge opportunity for Duddy.. just don't think he's quite in the same league). And I think Taylor will win the rematch (though if Pavlik does win, 2 defeats of Taylor will be a good accomplishment.. and I'm not saying Taylor will mop the floor with him, but I'd probly have him as a slight favorite).

Why? What is so great about Mayweather Sr. other then his self promotion?

                      Let me ask you this:
Would Mayweather Sr. be talked about if he wasn't the father of Floyd Maywaether Jr.

Floyd made him what he is. He should give thanks to Floyd instead of being a conceited ****.
