Jermain Taylor Holds The Key To Pavlik-Duddy

Earlier today, a report came out in the Ohio Vindicator, stating that WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (32-0, 29 KOs) was making the first defense of his title against "Irish" John Duddy (21-0, 16 KOs) on Jan. 26 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. [details]

I'm wondering whether Taylor will exercise it or not. Should be interesting to see what happens.

I dont think he's going to do anything to delay match between Pavlik and Duddy. I hope not unless he wants the re-match right way like in January or February.

He wont take the rematch. Steward will advise him not too. He'll take on a tall, awkward fighter next. Mark my words.

Jermian Talyor should hire Dr Phil to get his butt of and use his mind and jab.

He got the best talent and ablitiy to win but make to many mistakes that could be prevented.

and if Taylor got the key better not lose it because he need to open with it something ... not saying what it is

I think if Taylors own people, Wasnt against him all the way up to the fight..I think he would have won the fight...I think it troubles him that his own people started putting him down...That wouldnt happen in the Uk..I thought that was really bad. Those people from his home town should hang there heads down low there a ***in disgrace. They should have suported him

i'm split because i want him to get his belts back right away...but i also want him to beat someone else ass to get his confidence back

i got a question tho...since the rematch clause is for the catch weight of 166 but JT elects to stay with the weight limit of 160 does that mean pavlik doesnt have to fight him right away on contract terms?
