was a pretty obvious move to be honest. duddy is relatively low risk and probably the biggest money fight outside of odh or a tito comeback. duddy has an absolutely massive follwing, garunteed sell-out crowd to watch him get the **** smacked out of him for 6 rounds

He says that, but if Pavlik wanted to fight Wrght. Wright would be like wait a year, it has to be on PPV, I have to get such and such of a dollar amount with this this, this, and that in the contract.
At some point Wright isn't goint to have any negotiating power and if he's smart he'll avoid a fight with Kelly together.Last edited by The Troll; 10-16-2007, 11:53 AM.Comment

To be honest i would be shocked to if it lasted 6 rounds, absolutely shocked. but i live in NY so im goin to the roy jones vs trinidad fight, even though i think this fight between pavlik and duddy is better, but i think if i get the money im definitely goin to both. But if i could only go to one what do u guys think is the better fight to see excitement wise, im betting pavlik.Comment

I Love Pavliks attitude, This fight will be Exciting while it lasts but Pavlik gets the KO win fairly early, 2 Undefeated young fighters with exciteing styles, Great followings, Big punch power and a title on the line - The Atmoshere will be ELECTRIC!Comment

i agree, pavlik is going to crush that dude, duddy's inability to cope with campas made me lose all hope in him as an elite.I don't think Duddy is ready for this at all. His performance with a very old, worn, and never too much of an elite fighter Campas made me seriously doubt his ability to fight amongst the elite. But the fight should be entertaing and sounds like one I would definitely watch even if I think it's a foregone conclusion.Comment

I've seen Duddy spar with Golden Glovers at Gleason's Gym and he can't get out of the way of their jabs. How in the world he will be able to cope with Pavlik's is beyond me.
Duddy isn't ready for this step up. He hasn't fought any top contenders and has been protected over in Ireland and New York. He's a good regional ticket-seller, like a Dmitriy Salita or Edgar Santana. On the other hand, Pavlik is a qualified undefeated champion. Duddy is far from qualified. It's an A level champion against a B- Contender.Comment
